8/31/10 - LA/OC Building and Construction Trades Council Golf Tournament Raises $29,975 for Para Los Niņos
On August 30, 2010 Via Verde Country Club set the stage for the 19th annual LA/OC Golf Tournament. Beginning their day early, players battled for the lowest team scores and a chance to win the $10,000 hole-in-one prize sponsored by Union Bank. At the end of 18 holes, golfers enjoyed a delicious lunch, an award presentation, and a prize drawing that included sporting tickets and equipment, and electronics. Para Los Niños thanks Richard Slawson, Executive Secretary for the Council, his committed staff and all the golfers and sponsors for their generous support.
