9/2/11 PLN Youth Complete Program at Cal State LA!
California State University Los Angeles hosted a culmination event recently for 52 of the Para Los Niños Workforce Services program participants who completed or are currently completing their paid work experience on campus. Our youth had the opportunity to work in such areas as Admissions, Financial Aid, Health Administration, and Records, and participated in various workshops including financial literacy, job skills training, community skills, exposure to higher education and career planning. Para Los Niños provided paid work experience to 185 youth ages 14-24 this past summer.
