Family Services

All children’s programs at Para Los Niños are coordinated with comprehensive support for the entire family through our Family Resource Centers, Family Preservation Programs and Mental Health Program.

Once critical needs for food, clothing and shelter are met, Para Los Ninos works with families to address emotional, educational and related concerns. By integrating a full range of assistance in our family services programs, we work with families to identify the root cause of their problem and offer them the comprehensive mental, emotional and educational support they need to make positive changes.

Family case managers, licensed social workers, family advocates, a psychologist and a consulting psychiatrist administer this growing list of services to families in need:
• Mental health counseling
• In-home counseling and education
• Parenting classes
• Support groups
• Referrals for medical care, job training and more

Our intensive case management, home visits and other services educate and assist parents in developing the skills necessary to provide safe and nurturing environments for their children.
