A 2012 Introduction to Para Los Niños

This video provides an introduction to Para Los Niños, explaining who we serve, what we do and how we do it.  Featuring our President & CEO Martine Singer, our Superintendent of Education Titus Campos and various alumni and directors, this video provides a brief look at our Family Learning Complex and touches upon the array of integrated services offered to our children, youth and families.

Transformation Through Art

Art is an integral part of Para Los Niños’ academic curriculum and after-school programs. This video shows the role that art plays in education in many of the Para Los Niños programs. You will see children and youth learning, creating and exploring in their environments., as well as the children’s annual visit from international arts educator Malcolm Wray. Malcolm comes every winter to the Charter Elementary and Middle Schools, leaves behind a powerful legacy of art and exploration.

ABC7's Vista L.A. Visits the Para Los Niños Family Learning Complex

In November of 2008, ABC7's Vista L.A. aired a segment featuring Para Los Niños' state-of-the-art facility -- The Family Learning Complex -- which offers services ranging from infant care to middle school education. Jovana Lara, ABC7's news anchor, was led on a tour of the Family Learning Complex by Gisselle Acevedo, President and CEO.

Malcolm Wray Visits Para Los Niños Charter Elementary School

In January 2008, Malcolm Wray, a renown art educator from England, spent a week providing intensive art instruction to the students at Para Los Niños Charter Elementary School.  His coaching led students to create artwork inspired by science, history, and famous artists like Georgia O’Keefe.
